Restorative Reminder - 1/7/2021
Today's Restorative Reminder is a video clip from a training where I explain the importance of teaching the behavior you are expecting. Arguably, the most important skill set that a teacher needs to develop is the ability to manage their classroom. If a teacher struggles with classroom management, we must provide them with the necessary training that will give them an opportunity to do so. Expecting teachers to "figure out" how to manage their classroom or expecting students to "figure out" how to behave without providing either the support they need sets teachers, students, and administrators up to fail.
