RESTORATION OF THE TIME THE SABBATH DAY
Blessed are you that live to witness the restorations of the law and the time as written in the book of Daniel.
Daniel 12:12: “Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days”. Even at that, many will still not understand or will they be able to comprehend the truth, as they have sought the truth with all disobedience to the law and shall reject the call to obedient to it as written in Daniel 12:10: “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand”. If you are one of the wise, then you will surely understand.
We are going to speak on the restoration of time. Daniel mentioned it in Dan 7:25: “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws”. The time as written here is only but the Sabbath day, because it is the only time that is included in the Ten Commandments.
In the book of Exodus 20:8-10 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God”. You are given six days to work for yourself, but the seventh day, God who made you says it is for Him. This is the commandment and those who are wise shall obey it.
But this commandment is not obeyed by most Christians after the war and abomination of desolation was determined. The war was mentioned by Daniel in the book of Dan 9:26: “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined”.
You might receive many teachings from different teachers of the bible as to the meaning of this verse and some will use mathematical formula and theories to explain this verse, but the explanation is very simple, because it said to the exact of what had happened.
One, Messiah was cut off. Christ was crucified for you and me.
Second, destroys the city and the sanctuary … and unto the end of the war desolation are determined.
When the Roman Church was formed, the history has it that they persecuted the church of God to force everyone to be in one church, Roman Catholic Church. It was recorded that the date of worship was changed to suit the time of worship of the Roman pagan sun god time and Sabbath day was completely removed from the church calendar. This was possible after destruction of true church of God and forcing those who pledged allegiance to join that one church, Roman Catholic, and those that had refused were completely eliminated from existence. That was the desolation that brought abomination into the church. And that is how the time, the Sabbath day was changed to Sunday, the first day of the week.
God did promise beautiful things to those that shall keep the holy day as is written in the book of Isaiah, “If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honorable; and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it” Isaiah 58:13.
The people failed to keep the Sabbath without breaking it and because of it, God desired that the sacrifice attached to it be removed and it is written in the book of Hebrew 10:5-7; “Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God”.
So when Jesus Christ did the work of His Father on the Sabbath, the Jews had problem with it because they did not understand the time or what was written about Jesus and they queried His work of mercy on the Sabbath day. Jesus answering said “What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the Sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath days”. And in another area as He answered their question in respect of the Sabbath, He says: “But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day” Matthew 12:6-8.
Jesus Christ kept the Sabbath doing all works of mercy on that day, and all the apostles kept the Sabbath, but apart from few churches that keeps the holy day, majority failed to keep it.
There are many arguments arising from those that do not keep the holy day. Some say that the apostles and disciples of our Lord Jesus came together in the evening of the first day of the week to break bread and that there was nothing wrong in skipping the Sabbath and meeting on the morning of the first day. In all, it kept the resurrection of Jesus in remembrance.
Others argued that the date of meeting does not matter anymore since the death of Jesus has taking care of all laws and we do not need to work under laws again. To them, letter kills, but life in Christ Jesus gives life.
The question remains, shall we do away with law and live a lawless life?
Hear from Jesus Himself: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 5:17-19.
Jesus Christ is our guide in keeping the laws and commandments of God, and it is written of him: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross”.
WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT DISOBEDIENCE?
Moses struck the rock instead of speaking to it to yield its water, the water did come out, but it was recorded to him as disobedience and he was only allowed to see the Promised Land, but not to enter it as punishment for his disobedience.
Saul, the king, was told not to take bounty from Amalekites, but to destroy everything he saw there, but he thought that that will be foolishness for him to obey such a command and you know the rest of the story to his end and his family.
But before his punishments came to fulfillment Samuel said to him
“Hath the Lord a great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king”.
Eli was a good man, but he could not control his children or in the least remove them from God’s service to the people. He allowed them to go on and do what they liked and did not stop them. And it is written in the book of Samuel 3:3-4: “And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; That the Lord called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I”.
The lamp of God shall in no way extinguish in the temple of the Lord as was commanded by God to Moses, which Eli kept faithfully, but his children cared not to keep it. All the while when the light was on, God endured their sins; He spoke when the commandment concerning His house was broken.
You can reason whatever you like on the few cases I mentioned, but just know that the foolishness of God is greater than the wisdom you can ascribe to any man. And all these that happened to these men of God is an example to you to know that God hate disobedient and will punish every disobedient no matter the height or position one held with Him.
For them that says, it does not matter for my sin has taken by Christ death. Certainly He did but when you abuse it, you will suffer the consequences as written in the book of Hebrew 10:26-31; For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
WHEN SINS ARE MENTIONED, LAWS ARE BROKEN.
No one who is disobedient will be allowed to enter the kingdom of God. This is written of the new heaven and earth in Rev. 21: 27; Rev 22:1-2: “And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, nor maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life”.
“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life”
The reason why I brought to your notice “the tree of life” is because Adam and Eve were chased out of Garden of Eden because of the tree of life. It was said of the tree, whoever takes the fruit of the tree of life and eats it, shall live forever.
DO YOU THINK THAT GOD WILL ALLOW YOU TO COME INTO HIS KINGDOM IN THE PRESENCE OF THIS TREE IF YOU DISOBEY EVEN THE LEAST OF HIS COMMANDMENTS WITH A REASON OF YOUR OWN OR THAT OF YOUR CHURCH TEACHER?
I do not think He will take that risk knowing that by eating the fruit of the tree, you will live forever to question His authorities as you did on earth.
THE SABBATH DAY SHALL BE THE DAY OF THE LORD, THE DAY OF MERCY.
I do advise the true Christian churches to keep the Sabbath day of the Lord which is Saturday on the Jewish and the Christian calendar. First, by holding a morning assembly for the Lord and after that you can go out to carry out the work of mercy. They shall visit the sick in the hospitals, visit the fatherless and the widows, visit prisons and do the work of mercy. They shall take that day for evangelical work and other works of mercy. As Jesus says, “If you do good deeds to any of my brothers, you did it to me”. Matthew 25:31-36 and in Isaiah 58:7-9, it is written;
“Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward. Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am”.
God has chosen a day for you to show love, and think of Him as you do His delight, the work of mercy, but it is the most desirable day to fulfil your pleasure.
Churches can also keep their Sunday for the breaking of bread in remembrance of our Lord Jesus as the apostles did and still kept the Sabbath day.
THE SABBATH OF THE LORD MUST BE KEPT AND THE SAINTS MUST RESTORE THE TIME WHICH THE BEAST HAS CHANGED AS WRITTEN BY DANIEL. DANIEL 7:25-27
