Restoration of Capitaland Avance Building In Hyderabad and Impact Of Viva Panels For The Fa?ade Of The Buildings – A Closer Glance

The Capitaland Avance building accomplished recently in association with renowned fa?ade consultant Manjunath Shetty marks the beginning of a new business hub in Hyderabad. The building that was about eight years old was created using cement boards and drywall systems. “It had deteriorated over the years with several structural issues. It was also old in appearance. The client was looking for a solution and renovate the entire project. That’s how we started looking for several material options and we shortlisted suppliers. Viva verified as one of our suppliers and they got the project,” says Manjunath Shetty.?

Viva panels were a pivotal element to this project. The colours required by the client were unique and the panels requested by the architects were larger. Fortunately, Viva had an amalgamation of both, and the final output is exactly as envisioned.

The project was completed with minimum disruption to the existing structure while keeping safety in mind. Time and budgets were of grave importance however the biggest challenge was the lack of systematic engineering. “It is quite difficult to extract the construction drawings just by looking at the structure without any material, and time management was pivotal as we were amidst the peak of covid-19,” says Shetty.

Manjunath Shetty, who started his practice about four years ago, has completed projects across the country. While discussing his future projects with Viva, Shetty says “Viva is a renowned company which has a good infrastructure, and systematic guidelines. It is expanding, keen and ambitious, and I shall continue making innovative and astonishing projects with them hereafter.”??
