Rest is Rust... The Mantra: Don't Stop Working, No Matter What
Hey Friends Namaste ??,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and brimming with energy. I've been thinking a lot about how we approach our dreams and goals, and a saying keeps popping up in my mind: "Rest is Rust." It sounds a bit harsh at first, doesn't it? But the more I think about it, the more it makes sense in a kind of motivating way. So, I wanted to share some thoughts with you, just like we're having one of our usual chats.
You know, the idea isn't about working ourselves into the ground. It's more like saying, "Hey, keep moving. Keep pushing. Don't get too comfy and forget about where you wanna go." It's like when we promise to go jogging every morning; it's tough at first, but then it gets easier, and we start feeling great about it.
I read some cool stories that really bring this to life. Like, did you know Thomas Edison tried thousands of ways to make the light bulb work? Most people would've given up, but he just kept going. And J.K. Rowling? She got so many "no's" from publishers, but she didn't stop believing in her story about a boy wizard. Look where that got her!
It got me thinking about what we can do to keep our own engines running, even when we feel like hitting the pause button. Setting small, daily goals might help. It's like, instead of saying "I'm gonna write a book," we start with "I'll write a page a day." Before we know it, we'll have a whole chapter, then a book.
And how about learning something new that excites us? It could be anything, like picking up a few words of a new language or trying out a recipe from a cuisine we've never cooked before. It keeps our brains sharp and our spirits up.

Feedback's another big one. Remember when you gave me advice on my project, and it turned out way better? It's like that. Sometimes, a fresh pair of eyes can spot what we missed.
Lastly, let's not forget to pat ourselves on the back for the small victories. Finished that daily goal? Awesome! Learned something new? Celebrate it! It's these little moments that add up and keep us going.
So, what do you think? Ready to tackle our goals with a "Rest is Rust" attitude? Let's promise to push each other, keep learning, and celebrate every little win along the way.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Take care,
