In June, I hit a wall. I was pushing myself so hard that I ended up in the hospital, and I was convinced something was seriously wrong.
What started as just feeling exhausted turned into a trip to the hospital for tests. Thankfully, everything came back clear, but the doctor had a straightforward prescription: Rest.
So, I took three days off. No work, no emails, just a complete pause and pure downtime {not 100% but…}.
It was a strange feeling, stepping away from everything I was so engrossed in.? When I returned, I was astonished. I covered more ground in less time than I ever thought possible. The break not only refreshed me but also sharpened my focus. It was as if the time away had cleared the fog, allowing me to work more efficiently and effectively. it was about giving my mind the space to breathe.?
Sometimes, stepping away is exactly what you need to come back stronger. It’s like hitting the reset button on your productivity.
I have learnt a great lesson. It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and think that constant work is the only way to achieve results. But sometimes, stepping back is exactly what you need to move forward with greater speed and clarity.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or empty, I strongly encourage you to consider this. Taking time to rest can be one of your most productive decisions.
Sometimes, the most effective way to reach your goals quickly is to allow yourself to rest.
