I had the pleasure of photographing him live in concert 15 years ago. I was really into concert photography back then, and remember this one as being challenging to photograph, using my first ever DSLRs, the 4 mega pixel Nikon D2H and the 6mp D70. The digital camera technology sure has come far since then. Those cameras didn't do well in dark environments, and 800-1000 iso was as high as you could go before the files completely fell apart.

3 年Wow, you got some really good shots there. I grew up singing Meatloaf on our country school bus rides home. I remember when Bat Out of Hell came out and we got permission from my Saturday night babysitter's mom to gift her the album for Christmas. It was considered very racy at the time, but it was what everyone was listening to. Thanks for sharing your pictures David.
