R.E.S.T not Hard Work Key to Success

Hard Work is often attributed to Success. The R.E.S.T. is an important factor in achieving success that is often overlooked: Understanding these factors is essential for reaching your goals and overcoming obstacles.

“How long are you going to wait before you demand the best for yourself?” ― Epictetus

Responsibility : We can never be happy when we abandon our responsibility for our choices in the present. Our choices shape our path, defining who we are and where we’ll go.

“Concentrate every minute… ?on doing what’s in front of you with precise and genuine seriousness, tenderly, willingly, and with justice. And on freeing yourself from all other distractions” ― Marcus Aurelius.

Eliminate Mediocrity : Mediocrity doesn’t mean doing poor work or failing to achieve success, but knowing deep down that you are setting for something less. Eliminate mediocrity by never fearing taking risks to do today on things that you have been holding back, making meaningful progress from your efforts, and committing to continual growth and skills development.

“It’s not because things are difficult that we dare not venture. It’s because we dare not venture that they are difficult.“ ― Seneca

Seed Today : Our thoughts shape our character, circumstances, and destiny. By cultivating positive thoughts and aligning them with our goals and values, we can achieve fulfillment and prosperity.

“As he thinks, so he is; as he continues to think, so he remains.”― James Allen

The Waiting Game : Waiting in some form is inevitable. Where in your life and work are you waiting for the perfect time, place, people, and permission? Don’t anticipate it is going to hand it to you. So say yes and then figure it out along the way.

“Never allow waiting to become a habit. Live your dreams and take risks. Life is happening now.” - Paulo Coelho

So take responsibility with precise and genuine seriousness, eliminate mediocrity, cultivate a mindset of optimism, and stop the waiting game.
