Responsibility and the truth about self-love

Hey

Let’s talk about responsibility.

It’s a word that has created a lot of resistance for me in the past. Probably because I’ve always been a bit of a rebel and had a troubled relationship with authority…! Anyone relate?

I’ve been reevaluating that relationship over the years and learnt that responsibility actually provides the support to create what I really want from life.

The responsibility to show up for myself.

When I show up for myself, I have the strength to really show up for others too. That’s when magic happens.

I’m not a mum, but I imagine having a business is a bit like having a child. Like bringing any project you deeply care about to successful fruition….

… When you want something to thrive, to live free from problems, it requires that you tend to it daily.

You don’t have a baby and then decide not to feed it some days because you can’t be arsed!

So if you want thriving health, finances, a business that’s truly making an impact (both on the world and on your bank account)… they require tender loving care… daily.

It requires that you pay attention. What symptoms are showing up to suggest a lack of alignment or poor health?

What actions are required to turn that around?

 More exercise?

More visibility?

More organisation?

More connection?

More listening?

Bolder action?

You have all the answers… if you have the courage to really listen to yourself. You know where you’re dropping the ball. You know where you’re not giving yourself the support you need to thrive.

It’s not always more action, but more nourishment, that’s needed. Different action. A different story. Different habits.

What are you tending to daily?

What are you neglecting?

What aspects of your life and business are in need of more nourishment?

You get to create whatever you desire, in whatever way works for you. But you have to listen, you have to inquire, you have to discern what that is for you… and that takes real devotion to yourself. Day in, day out.

Are you courageous enough to really create what you desire in life?

What comes up for you when you ask that question?

XX,

 Sarah
