Responsibilities of "Principal"

"Jis school,college mai tum padte ho,uske principal hai hum"

Excluding the principal,everybody says this dialogue, that"s funny!! And because of that only,our principals are real heroes of our school and college.

Principals are the strongest pillar of the school or Colleges , So they have many responsibility to follow up to make their schools/ colleges an outstanding or top among all others institute in the particular state or district’s. ,So today we are going to discuss some responsibility that a principal should follow to gain success as a all rounding performance So these powers or responsibilities that every principal needs to follow

• Leadership &?CLimate ??:???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

1. ??Continuous endeavor to improve the operating effectiveness of the school /colleges,a principle is responsible.????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
2. Principal keep the information ?of current practices and techniques related to schools / colleges program , teaching and administration by attending meetings and profile development conferences or by reading professional materials.?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
3. ? Principal are not only involved in teaching duties, they have to devote as much time as possible to the supervision of the school , observing method of instruction and endeavoring that will try to improve the efficiency of the staff and the school /colleges. In general,organization & staffing department.????????????????????????
4. Principal participate in school/ colleges division office in the selection of professional clerical staff.
5. Principals are also responsible for the preparation of timetable , class lists, supervision schedules for their functioning. ????
6. ??Principal hold the regular staff meeting for the purpose of discussing educational,administration matters and maintenance record of the field.

• ?Professional Development:????

Principal take active role in the selection , planning and implementation of professional development activities for the staff and also promote the academic and personal growth of the staff members. ?

• Budgeting and planning:

Principal look over the budget of the institution and?they manage the resources on the right way. They analyze the wastage of money.Proper financial management planning is made and than discuss with the financial staff?of the institution.

• Communication and Public Relations:

1. ?Principal maintain a proper communication with the parents and students and always update them,about institution workings and what will be the future plans for the institutions.
2. ? Inform the parents about the students conference , newsletter and various other activities and sports events which is going to be organized by the institution.

Conclusion:

Principal is the head of any institution and they are the only one who is organizing and maintain everything and anything bad happened as whole blame will be on the principal only,so they need to follow all their responsibilities and duties in well manner .
