Responsibilities Imposed on Us by the Verses of the Holy Quran 37

Sūrat An-Nisā’ (The Women) (9)

In the Name of Allāh, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

71. O you who believe! Take your precautions, and either go forth (on an expedition) in parties, or go forth all together.

76. Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allāh, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of ?āghūt (Satan). So fight you against the friends of Shai?ān (Satan). Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shai?ān (Satan).

80. He who obeys the Messenger (Mu?ammad SAW), has indeed obeyed Allāh, but he who turns away, then we have not sent you (O Mu?ammad SAW) as a watcher over them.

82. Do they not then consider the Qur’ān carefully? Had it been from other than Allāh, they would surely have found therein many a contradiction.

84. Then fight (O Mu?ammad SAW) in the Cause of Allāh, you are not tasked (held responsible) except for yourself, and incite the believers (to fight along with you), it may be that Allāh will restrain the evil might of the disbelievers. And Allāh is Stronger in Might and Stronger in punishing.
