In recent years, with the rapid development of the new energy vehicle industry, consumers' demand for charging infrastructure is increasing.Taking Zhejiang province as an example, by the end of 2022, the number of new energy vehicles in Zhejiang has reached 1,348,200, a?total of 7,224 charging/swapping stations of various types and 83,779 public and special charging piles of various types have been built in the province.Excluding private charging piles, there are only 6 public charging piles per 100 vehicles.

In this regard, Zhejiang province has stepped up the construction of charging pile stations. According to the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Charging Infrastructure in Zhejiang Province", by 2025, the province will build more than 6,000 charging stations and?more than 80,000 charging piles for public use, and more than 350,000 new charging piles for self-use.

Actively promote the interconnection of charging infrastructure in the Yangtze River Delta region, build a smart charging service network covering the entire province and the Yangtze River Delta region, and meet the growing demand for electric vehicle charging.

It is worth noting that there are currently no complete standards for the implementation of charging piles. The charging pile industry has frequent spontaneous combustion accidents during charging, single profit models for charging pile operators, and low utilization of charging piles.
