Respected Global Sports Leader Sarah Lewis OBE OLY joins Trivandi

We are delighted to welcome Sarah Lewis OBE OLY to Trivandi as a Senior Advisor. Sarah brings over 25 years’ experience of leadership positions in international sport, which she’ll apply to helping drive forward Trivandi’s mission to create events and venues, better.?

Sarah will provide trusted counsel to Trivandi’s Senior Management team, as well as lead special projects that support Trivandi’s purpose to continually improve the delivery and operations of events and venues, leave a sustainable legacy and train local people to do what we do. Sarah will also provide mentoring to Trivandi’s global team, with a particular focus on supporting female team members to achieve their ambitions within the industry.??

Commenting on her appointment, Sarah said:

I am excited to work closely with Trivandi’s talented team of strategy, design and operational specialists and apply my knowledge, experience and network to collectively achieve our shared goals for the industry, particularly around governance, sustainability, innovation and technology.”?

Sarah has a wealth of experience as a leader in international sport, including as Secretary General of FIS (International Ski?and Snowboard?Federation) from 1998-2000, Secretary General of the Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations from 2014-2020, a member of the IOC Programme Commission and Coordination Commissions for the Olympic Winter Games and Youth Olympic Games (2026, 2022, 2020, 2018), and a member of the Steering Committee of the annual SportAccord International Federation Convention from 2002-2020. Sarah was awarded an OBE for services to international sport in 2018.

Before building a career in sports administration, Sarah was a successful Alpine Skier, representing Great Britain at the?Calgary 1988?Winter Olympic Games.?
