Respect time coz you never know when time starts disrespecting you

In my 10 years of corporate career, I have seen many people rise to great heights of success; some have risen through the ranks, some through their genius, some through intelligence and some by becoming blind followers . In these years, I have also witnessed many a downfall; some losing jobs due to poor performance and downsizing others due to unknown personal reasons. I have seen some of my good colleagues lose jobs on these grounds. Such situations have always left me puzzled. I kept wondering how can a person who had once won accolades for his hard work, perform so poorly that he lost his job.

And then there were a few conclusions I made .These conclusions are completely my personal view and may be right or completely wrong:

1. Life is a big equalizer

You get what you give. If you spread kindness you get back kindness, if you spread cruelty you get back cruelty.

2.Time is all powerful

Nothing is more important than time. If your time is favorable you become a king, else you become a pauper.

3.Power should bring humbleness not arrogance

Knowledge and power should bring humility and not arrogance. Ravana is the best example for this. On one hand where Ravana was worshiped for his knowledge and wisdom, his downfall happened because of his arrogance. Arrogance destroys even the best of characters and souls.

4.A leader creates more leaders

A true leader does not instill awe but confidence in his juniors. If people follow you blindly you are not a true leader but a band master.

5. Karma spares none

Whatever we do, Karma "I saw that"

All of us at one point or the other pass through a rough patch in our lives. What we need to do during such times is hold the front strongly and believe that whenever its the darkest, morning is not far away .
