Respect LinkedIn and Honor their Standard Invitation Message. "I'd like to add you to my professional network on LinkedIn."

Respect LinkedIn and Honor their Standard Invitation Message. "I'd like to add you to my professional network on LinkedIn."

Many people reading my headline which reads, Connect with people for no reason at all would say, "are you crazy Bill."  No I am not crazy, and in a moment I am going to share almost all of the secrets and (tips) on how you can build a world class LinkedIn network, of 30k professionals in less than one year.

The information I am about to share with you, has never been shared before by anyone.  How do I know this?  Because I am the mastermind behind creating this revolutionary comprehensive connection strategy, that works without sending a personal invitation to connect.

I will get to all of my juicy secrets in a moment, but first I would like to talk about the picture up top that reads, "Linkedin Connect with people for no reason at all."  Today, I came across this post on the home page by a LinkedIn member named Paul Wayne.  Note this was not a long form blog post.  Mr. Wayne wrote on the top of this message,

"Does anybody actually know how to network anymore?  I have over 1,200+ pending invites which have been sent to myself with no message or reason to actually connect."

Mr. Wayne has over 56k followers and will come up first in the LinkedIn search engine.  Now, let me say for the record, I do not personally know Mr. Wayne, and I am not connected with him either.  He does seem like a thought leader and uses LinkedIn often from reviewing his profile.

What really struck me about his post were two points:

*   I believe most LinkedIn members would be jumping for joy, if they even         had 100 or 200 hundred people waiting to join their network, let alone 1,200.

*   The second and most crucial point of his post was that Mr. Wayne, has all of    these potential connections waiting to join his network, with no                                message or reason to actually connect.

Now, the second point is what the remainder of this post will be about.  The most important part of his comment to me, was the reason to actually connect. Most of you have heard for the past 13 years, or have been taught by a LinkedIn expert or trainer, that you must send a personal invitation to connect with other professionals on LinkedIn.

|  Well my friends that simply is NOT TRUE. The reason why, is the website listed below.  Allow me to explain.

 www.theglobaluniter.com    (e-book)

For those of you who have purchased my e-book, which is the link above, you know in my e-book I talk about the fact that you should use a personal invitation to request to connect with members, so I thought.  I stated this in my e-book for this simply reason.  When I started LinkedIn, I had no prior social media experience, and like all of you, I was told I should change the standard LinkedIn invitation request.

So, one day I decided to get on the computer and send ONE personal invitation request.  I thought by changing it one time the computer would remember my personal message.  Like I said, I was listening to the "experts".  Then, when I realized you have to do that for every request, I said to myself,

"Are you crazy Bill."  From that moment on, I told myself the standard invitation request is just fine.  So, the rest of my connections that I personally sent out, were with the standard LinkedIn invitation request.  Yes, it may seem rude, or crude, even straight forward and to the point.  But after all, isn't that what LinkedIn is all about.  Building the relationships necessary to go off line and get the deal done later.

Now, think about it? To say the standard invitation to request line that LinkedIn provides is not professional enough, is actually a slap in the face to LinkedIn. After all, they created this professional social media platform, and who are we to say that it is not good enough.

LinkedIn would not have lasted 13 years, with over 443 million members, if they didn't know a thing or two about networking. Some key factors that we all look at when deciding to invite are listed below.

*  Finding common ground.

*  Adding value to each other's network.

*  Building a strong foundation of member's that we can build upon.

*  Creating a personal brand that is so irresistible that people cannot say No too.      Why do you think I created "The Global Uniter."  Because it works :)

Now in my e-book, I explain how I created my comprehensive strategy to connect.  My e-book explains that I personally new around 90% of the member's in my network, because I had personally invited them.  At that time, I did not have some of the features available today, to know if a member was in my network or not.  I had to personally recognize the member's profile photo and read their headline to remember if they were in my network or not.

Also, I believe in truly networking and building a strong relationship with my member's, that become apart of my network.  I believed this so much, by the time I had 3,200 connections, I had all 50 skills sets maxed out 99 plus.  Today, I have over 108,000 endorsements and 61k+ connections.

Remember those 1,200 people that wanted to join Mr.Wayne's network?  If they would have purchased my e-book and utilized my revolutionary comprehensive connection program, they would have known, if they were in a position to invite or not invite.

In order to get people to say Yes, you need to know what your doing.  Frankly, most people are getting it wrong, because they simply do not have the tools necessary to be successful in making new connections.  Until now...... Meet the only (e-book) you will need to kick start your LinkedIn journey.

I would like to say, that if you wish to send everyone a personal message, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that approach.  The reason I personally teach to not use it, as a LinkedIn expert;  It Simply is Not Necessary.  Many people have called me the "renaissance man" for having created such a powerful approach to networking.  Thank you, but I prefer The Global Uniter.

Please remember, LinkedIn has never said you must send a personal invitation request.  LinkedIn does prefer you connect with family, friends and colleagues.  They do discourage connecting with strangers.  There lies the best part of my e-book. With my teachings, you are Never a Stranger.

Now, I can already hear the backlash now, so let me address the elephant in the room now.  Yes, I was restricted ONE TIME for connecting with people who claimed they did not know me.  This is when I had around 6,500 connections.  That restriction lasted all of 36 hours.

Like any setback or failure, I learned from my mistake and made my comprehensive connection program that much stronger.  Look at it this way, if you want the best that LinkedIn has to offer, my e-book is for you.  If you want to build your professional network in 1 year instead of it taking 10 years, than this e-book is a must read for you.

** One thing I do agree with the other LinkedIn experts, is that LinkedIn is not a place for direct selling.  If you wish to start you incredible LinkedIn journey today, you will have to go to my official website.

Special Note:  For anyone that purchases my e-book between now and July 4th, 2016,  will receive a half hour free LinkedIn Skype session from me.  You can ask me anything related to LinkedIn.  The only two requirements are:  You must have Skype and you must speak English.  My Skype ID:  billbrinkle

Look for the back end of LinkedIn eventually to change to a Microsoft platform, and data stores. Whether that is better or worse--only time will tell.
