Resources for Parents Coming Soon!

Resources for Parents Coming Soon!

This week's Mental Health Monday newsletter is going to be short and sweet. Two quick things, both resources for parents of kids struggling with mental health.?

  • This Saturday, in Forest Grove, Oregon, my Parenting & Mental Health Conference with NAMI Washington County will bring parents, school counselors and therapists together to talk about what parents need to know about kids' mental health—what to look for, when to get help, what help looks like, and stories of it's really like to parent kids who are struggling with mental health, whether anxiety, depression, eating disorders or other mental health issues. (Can't make this Saturday? We have two more planned this spring: April 6th in Hillsboro, and May 4th in Beaverton?) (Don't live in Oregon, or not near those cities but think "Dang, I wish that was available in my school district!" Let's talk, introduce me to your school folks, and let's make it happen!)

Coming soon!!! Want to be a beta reader?

  • Seeking beta readers:?I am finalizing an upcoming journal for parents of kids with mental health struggles (sneak peek above) that will be available for purchase soon. I am looking for 5-6 of those parents who would be willing to just look at an electronic copy of the file, and do a 15-minute deep dive thinking through how you would use it, what might be missing, and what you like or don't like. If you're interested and have the time to do that for me in the next few days, just reply to this newsletter and let me know! I would so appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your help! (Can't be a beta reader this week, but interested? Just stay tuned, I'll let you know here as soon as it's available.)

Next week, I'll share a little about this weekend's conference, and I'll return to the normal schedule curating my take on the most interesting mental health news! In the meantime, remember,?We're in this together, and we can do this.
