We are now seeking a Resource Manager to join an award-winning digital agency and manage the resource management function within the organisation.
The Resource Manager will be responsible for all the management of the internal employee talent pool as well as collaborating with all departments to promote efficiency.
We are looking for a creative problem solver who can plan meticulously and be able to negotiate empathically whilst monitoring company needs and requirements during current and predicted client needs.
Working closely with each Internal Head of Department, you will understand all resource needs and be the main point of contact for a range of Client Services, Project Management as well as the Executive team.
Duties/Requirements:
· To ensure that all projects run smoothly by collaborating and liaising with heads of departments and project managers across the business
· To monitor all work to make sure it is running to schedule and to identify for potential issues and resolves to make sure efficiency is key
· To advise and recommend for the best course of practice and process within each department
· To monitor and oversee the most cost-effective resources across the talent field within the company
· To oversee weekly resource schedules, match requests to skill sets
· To be aware of current skills and employee aspirations
· To resolve any conflicts with support for resource from the senior levels of the teams
· To be able to identify talent requirements from freelance, contract, search and onboarding
· To oversee and manage the budgets for staff spend
· To partner with the hiring managers to recruit the best talent to hit objectives
· To work with all the Internal Heads of Departments to establish new teams, optimise current teams and to oversee any changes in demand
· To collaborate with all internal departments and management to forecast resource requirements ahead
· To identify where demand for resource cannot be met internally
· To work closely with the internal management to shape teams
· To support personal development across current team members
· To monitor and keep all information updated to the recruitment team
· To forecast costs for recruitment
· To produce and maintain documentation related to all operational process and policies
· To give guidance on business systems
Experience/Qualifications/Skills:
· 2+ years commercial experience within HR/ Recruitment / Digital Project Management within a creative or digital environment
· Strong expertise of owning and developing end to end recruitment process
· A good working knowledge of a digital environment
· To be able to work in a fast-paced project led environment
· Strong knowledge of digital processes and technologies
· Expertise of working within a environment where clear structure may not be present and needs to be aligned
· A strong understanding of project work - life cycles and processes
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Strong organisational skills
· The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with a flexible approach
· Self-motivated, able to work independently and be self-driven
· Passionate about innovation and business
