THE POWER OF PARTNERSHIPS

Empower the Amazon: Support Sustainable Development and Youth Engagement

IPE – Institute for Ecological Research, based in Brazil, develops and spreads innovative models for biodiversity conservation.?

Despite a 50% reduction in deforestation in 2023, 10,573 km2 of the Amazon were lost in 2022. As Brazil’s largest CO2 emitter from deforestation, protecting the Amazon’s ecological role is vital.

Since 2021, IPE's Navigating Entrepreneurial Education project supports businesses in the Puranga Conquista Sustainable Development Reserve (Amazonas), with training and seed capital. The new phase will involve youth in sustainable development, enhancing their role through science and culture.

Amount Needed: $60,000

IPE is our Fiscal Sponsorship Fund.
