RESONANCE ASIA expanding regional footprint to Japan
Resonance Asia
Discover and enable resonating leaders for a better culture and future!
Tokyo – RESONANCE ASIA, a?fast-emerging ?Executive Search & Leadership Advisory focusing on the transforming Insurance & Consumer Financial Services industries, shows no signs of slowing down.
The privately held firm that started up in autumn 2020 in Hong Kong, has received the official license in Japan and is able to address the changing leadership needs in a market that has been stagnant for a while. We are witnessing a change in leadership requirements and competencies.
Resonance Asia's founder, Marc Baloch is very optimistic:
“I have started my executive search career and lived in this beautiful city for eight years. I am excited with Resonance Asia Japan, to come back and help clients to hire the critical talent needed for the next phase of transformation from our new office in Shibadaimon, close to our favorite landmark, The Tokyo Tower”.?
RESONANCE is not a newcomer to Japan. As the most difficult talent market in the world to operate in, Japan requires local expertise to be able to promise quality and deliver results. The firm draws on two decades of expertise in Insurance and aligned Financial Services, working with global and regional clients by helping fill talent gaps, uncovering opportunities to grow and helping client firms manage risk through access to insights and understanding culture.
Baloch himself studied Japanology and is able to speak the language proficiently. He had been involved in key searches for his clients in Japan as the regional head of insurance of a leading global search firm, as well as more recently with Resonance Asia. Baloch shaped the Japan insurance industry through several CEO/MD appointments in Japan with a key focus on culture and business change, addressing new technologies, new customer segments and the need to bring in an employee-centric new way of working amidst a pandemic.
Consumers as well as employees in Japan had been shifting their views on work and on their life's purpose, wanting more meaningful impact. The global pandemic has also dramatically shifted perspectives on the work culture, with the emergence of work-from-home and virtual home office set-ups disrupting the traditional salaryman image in the workplace.
Baloch is among the few who can truly say that they can understand clients from a global, regional and also local Japanese perspective, and has been steering the Resonance Asia ship to?deliver best-in-class solutions to navigate the changing dynamics of the local labor market. The firm looks forward to offering clients sound and reliable advisory services in a market where only a few dominate, and where a fast-evolving industry requires the insights of a trusted partner with a different, broader perspective of change.?
The key focus of our work has been to help our clients achieve culture change, with leaders who resonate to the tune of the organizational aspirations.
We help organizations to address new entering disruptive business models & technologies, new customer & employee segments as well as the desire for a more inclusive and diverse workforce.
Resonance Asia is committed to helping its clients by helping match the talent that this market offers to opportunities that resonate: enabling current and future leaders to emerge, advance and scale in Japan.?
"With expanding our reach strategically to Japan we will help our core clients to identify the right new leadership, leaders who truly resonate talent to advance and to scale in a transforming market.
The time has never been better to prepare for the changes we know are here to come."
