Reskilling AI - using an open AI syllabus and chatGPT to democratise the learning of AI

Today morning, I was very pleased to see this?

A few weeks ago I released an open syllabus on how to teach AI to a ten year old?

This was based on my teaching in Oxford?

Sophie Wrobel, LLM ,? a parent and teacher in Germany saw the post and is implementing the syllabus in Germany?

This is great to see - and the power of #opensource and open technologies

My long term vision is to develop this as an open syllabus for reskilling - by using the central idea of a shared artefact for learning (as a collaboration between the teacher and the learner).? This approach puts the teacher at the centre of learning (assisted by AI)

Me and Anjali Jain developed the concept of a role playing prompt to create scenarios - which act as a shared artefact

I also developed a version of the syllabus for teaching on Autism - neurodiverse specturm. A subject which directly impacts me??

I want to develop these ideas as open source tools to democratise education at multiple levels. The basic format of iteratively developing a scenario using a scaffolding provided by the teacher with the help of chatGPT prompts as a shared artefact can apply to multiple levels.?

My teaching is based on the Oxford Tutorial system Unique to Oxford and Cambridge. The outcomes can be Data analysis or Python code. The output can be shared using a GPT?

By developing scenarios based on? Real-World themes, we can encourage learners to think about ethical, social, and business implications of their decisions. We use AI/chatGPT as ideation to progressively develop a scenario.?

I shared some of these ideas in my visit to the Oxford e-research centre last week.?
