Stardate 93875.2; Captain's Log; Message Transcript; Jim, it's inorganic (lithium based), and they can operate alone or as a vast collection of cells linked in a hive mind constantly regenerating and forcibly transforming and being assimilated into the grid at every level. Definitely worthy of our attention and study.

I thought I'd share this little analogy to The Borg (Star Trek) in relation to our utility scale storage and distributed energy trials boosted by a $1.9m ARENA grant covered in the article below.
