Resistance against the Government
For a long time we have defended the idea that it is morally correct to applaud the government on the good things they have done, and criticize what they’ve done wrong. But, we have seen during this time that the `one man regime` has disappointed us by hurting the culture of living together despite our differences, by violating basic human rights, and by continuing the nonsense violations that the State of Emergency has brought us.
The people have lost hope in compromise. No crime that has been committed on the people will go unpunished. The youth will not forget the lawlessness that we are witnessing today. The crimes, treasons, and lawlessness that this regime has committed are bringing Turkey to a dead end. The only option that remained to oppose this one-man-regime is a strong popular opposition.
Whoever sees himself/herself a democrat and patriot, be them on the right or on the left, have no place near this regime.
As patriots of this country, we will oppose this one-man-regime, in every field, nationally and internationally. This opposition will be peaceful and in accordance to law, while rejecting any type of violence. We will support everyone who opposes this regime, while staying in the boundaries of peace and against violence.
We will continue this position of the regime until its shadow passes our country by democratic means.
In the coming days we will announce our roadmap for the public and volunteers who oppose the current situation of lawlessness without any expectation of position, office, fame, glory, or fame.
