Welcome to your latest? The?BOLD?Edition - our monthly The Female Forum newsletter for everyone on LinkedIn that feels #gracefullyBOLD. Read to the end for the full dose of #inspiration and #insights.

Theme of the Month

Our theme this month is:?#resilience - the unwavering strength and determination to overcome obstacles and rise above challenges.

Most of us know all too well that life - let alone professional success - is rarely linear. There are hardships and struggles. Setbacks and disappointments. All completely normal. The most important thing is our #mindset and #attitude to challenging times, and that's where our resilience muscle kicks in.

Resilience is not innate, it is learnt by experience. This is why the tougher the situation we face ourselves in, the greater the opportunity to bounce back even stronger.

I had my fair share of stumbling blocks along the way and frankly in hindsight I think every experience was an invaluable life lesson. A job lost unfolded into a new opportunity that was more interesting and better paid. A failed relationship unfolded into me meeting the man of my life - albeit a bit later in life. In difficult times, I reminded myself of a quote by my late grandmother Hilde who was the epitome of resilience:

"The harder I fall, the higher I bounce."

Let us channel our inner hero/ines and face every challenge with #courage and #grace. Let us be proud of the scars we bear, for they are a testament to our strength and resilience. So here is to all the (wo)men who have faced hardship and emerged even stronger.

Let us continue to support each other, lift each other up, and celebrate our collective resilience.

With love & admiration and remember to stay #gracefullyBOLD.
