Resilience

Someone so dear to me wrote these beautiful words: "?I have the tenacity to pursue my dreams even when they are challenging. God always provides just what I need."?
The Oxford Dictionary defines resilience as?the tenacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties.
We all want to be strong and in control at every turn of life. I do not believe we were created to be this hard shell capable of sustaining life's blows without showing any cracks.
I firmly believe that underneath those cracks are life experiences; the falling backward and forwards through them lie the essence of a spirit-filled human capable of recognizing that " Rome was not built in one day." You are ok even when the waves and currents do not align with your rowing for this season. Just keep rowing. Just keep plowing forward. The game of life is play and yields results by you being an active player.
Maybe you are a person of faith, or perhaps you are not. The tenacity to keep showing up for your dreams no matter the odds is what true resilience is. Having an attitude and mindset of service without expecting anything in return truly depicts what is beneath your iceberg.
?Your resilience permits someone else to do the same. Your attitude of serving others propels you higher to elevation while motivating others.
Whatever you do, keep plowing.
Great encouraging read this morning! May God bless you!
