The resilience of the internet

Dyn research just updated an interesting piece of analysis indicating that many developing countries are exposed to the risk of losing their connectivity to the internet. The analysis is quite simplistic and probably deserves deeper analysis to reflect an assessment of the level of redundancy in physical cable and satellite paths, but it serves to show how our increasing reliance on the internet hasn't been accompanied by commensurate security and availability protections.
