Resilience : A Companion in all Walks of Life
June 2019 at the World Congress on Mental training for Excellence in Sports and Life I gave a keynote on “Resilience : a companion in all walks of life”. This year, in facing Covid19 people worldwide are challenged to deal with life adversity. In the keynote I briefly reviewed the concept resilience and shared ideas on ways to build resilience. In the workshop participants learned to mobilize different resources to foster resilience Some of the important aspects are ways for self-regulation, feeling connected, having access to inner resources and having goals. Meanwhile for many people these past months helped them to creatively deal with the unexpected situation and discover some hidden talents that otherwise would have laid dormant.
