Today is when India became independent. My greetings and best wishes on this 74th Independence Day.
I read an interesting phrase this week.
Resilience is built on multiple options
Resilience refers to bouncing back. The individuals, society, state, country have to bounce back from any crisis that one may go through from time to time. The key to bouncing back is the options that we have created.
If we can meet our commitments even during such a crisis, it is because of the alternate approaches that we have developed and practiced. Each of these alternative approaches represents “Options” that we pick or create.
A good example I can think is; Swiggy started delivering groceries during COVID as the delivery of food from restaurants reduced significantly.
We can overcome anything if we keep building our options on everything that we do.
In place of saying ,"This is the only way or options."
Can we start saying, “This is the best way or option for us.”
The latter implies that we had options to pick.
