RESILIENCE BEING A SURVIVOR AND FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE
RESILIENCE BEING A SURVIVOR FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE
Today I received what feels like "good news" for as many years as i can remember I have been working closely with Emma Glasbey a BBC journalist. Who has single handed put pressure on West Yorks police to review my historic abuse case.
My message is to other survivors just when you think nobody listens, hold tight, be safe and KEEP THE HOPE.
My whole work ethos has been hugely dependent upon my resilience growing to stand up to silence, discrimination and institutional abuse myself.
Through my valued position as a mental health advocate & trainer I want to say that my experience, knowledge, skills and trauma are there to help others, businesses, organisations and individuals.
If you wish to hear my powerful story of being a survivor in continual recovery then please get in touch and give me a voice.
We need to break the wall of silence and lack of cooperation with the police and CPS and others to stop child abuse and give a real valued voice to survivors.
