RESIGNMENT, RESIGNATION AND A RESIGNATION......

RESIGNMENT, RESIGNATION AND A RESIGNATION......

I no longer recognize the industry. This is not the one I helped to build. It is but a mere shell of its former self. Its ranks long ago having been decimated by a government monopoly.

Those in its employ, who enjoy its benefits decry smugly that this was not only foreseeable but necessary in the pursuit of the achievement of a "standard" of "excellence". Standards that have been set, by the very same individuals and entities that produced the financial crisis that preceded such need. A true crisis - at such scale and severity that global markets have yet to recover. Enslaving entire generations economically in its wake.

We bow and scrape like all good subjects do, at the cash window, because we have no choice. We speak of democratizing data across the industry while ignoring the demise of democracy in lending. Choosing instead to abdicate our power to the Agencies and their policies that have ushered in the lowest supply of inventory, the lowest affordability and lowest consumer confidence in the history of housing in America.

All in the name of (Your) "Excellency". Under a banner of safety, soundness, and "inclusion", (Your) "Excellency" has excluded nearly 75% of Americans from access to generational wealth estimated to be 44x. A single credit score serving as the "Standard" by which the sovereign ruler is divined to rule. These very assurances of safety and soundness have safely put homeownership and the pursuit of generational wealth out of reach for entire ethnic groups. Assuring them of a place of economic disadvantage for decades to come. Homeownership rates for Black Americans are currently at their lowest in history.

Accessibility for all Americans has reached an all-time low as costs have reached an all-time high. A few short years ago the average cost of a mortgage was $2500. Today, Americans spend $14,700 on average for the privilege of holding debt to the Crown. But only after they have paid several times in advance - via heavy taxation deemed "required" to sure up the castle walls and fund economic wars to sustain a sovereign that is anything but benevolent.

Those at Court, hold Court. All the while ignoring the highest Court - that of the People. (Your) "Excellency" reigns supreme while Americans lose their dream. Owning 25% of the homes built-to-own and 100% of those we don't. (Your) "Excellency cries for "more supply, more supply!" all the while the laborers, and builders who provide it - you deny.

Despite the fact that there is a crown on the Statue of Liberty. I'm certain....this is not what was meant to be..... This land was meant for you - and me.

ONE DAY SOON. YOU SHALL NEED THEE. BUT THIS INDUSTRY IS NOW A STRANGER TO ME.

The banks have subjugated their sovereignty to the promise of big government to socialize credit risk and interest rate risk while privatizing the profits. The government didn't need to fire one bullet to accomplish this takeover, all it took was a ridiculous offer that the banks couldn't refuse....
