Dear Readers,
As we were in the process of Inducting our new batch of Management Trainees whom we intent to groom as Partners under Residential Entrepreneur Program , with an aim to nurture and build our tech platform for niche consulting offerings into independent scalable businesses. I couldn't resist going back to my memory lane when I joined Marico Limited in year 2000 as Management Trainee
It all began in the year 2000, when I was recruited by Pankaj Bhargava , Head of OD at Marico at the time, who played a pivotal role in shaping my growth in next 2 Decades. Although my association with Marico lasted only couple of years before I moved to Johnson & Johnson Medical, my association with Pankaj as mentor continued. He guided me through the nuances of decision-making, building teams, defining our offerings, understanding our customers, identifying our core competencies, and communicating effectively with stakeholders - all essential for creating scalable business models.
If there's one thing I credit Pankaj for, it's teaching me the difference between daydreaming and envisioning, and how to translate those visions into actionable plans. This transformation from conceptualisation to action planning has been the cornerstone of my entrepreneurial endeavours. I thought why only our Residential Entrepreneurs Tanmay Nipane , Poonam Priyadarshini , Karishma K R Sahil Singh but a larger linked in community can take advantage of the learnings in coming month, hence I'm inviting Pankaj to share his invaluable insights with all of you through our bi-weekly newsletter, mentor-bi .
In the upcoming series, we will talk about a range of topics aimed at understanding and implementing this learning:
1. Idea vs. Vision: Distinguishing between a concept and a vision that drives action.
2. Thought to Action: Bridging the gap between ideas and execution.
3. Elements of Clarity: Identifying essential components for a clear and compelling vision.

4. Enabling Clarity: Techniques to enhance clarity of thought and purpose.
5. Action Planning: Developing strategic plans that translate vision into tangible goals.
6. Review & Repurpose: Reflecting on progress and adapting plans for continued success.
I hope as group wisdom and collective experience, we'll gain valuable insights into the intricacies of decision-making, a foundational element of entrepreneurship.
I invite each of you to join me to engage and embark this journey. Let's learn, grow, and turn our ideas into impactful ventures.
Thank you for being a part of this community.
Warm regards,
