Reshaping Cancer Care: A Year of Growth and Innovation at Carevive
Carevive by Health Catalyst?
Combining data and cancer care expertise to inform the future of cancer care.
To Our Partners, Colleagues, and Friends,
Carevive continues to accomplish our vision to reshape cancer care delivery. 2023 was an important year where we grew the size of our provider and patient networks, the number of life science engagements, and contributed important research to the field.
As a result, our unique dataset, Carevive SMARTData?, now offers even more and deeper insights into the journey of patients with cancer and their varied experiences. Our partners in the cancer center and in life science companies have expanded their collaborations with us to better understand our data, what the patient experience looks like, and how it can be improved.
We further expanded the footprint of our site network to include more sites that are using our remote symptom monitoring (RSM) technology, thereby increasing the enrollment of patients who are contributing patient-reported outcomes (PRO) data to our 30+ cancer datasets. We also increased our life science partnerships, enabling more companies to leverage Carevive SMARTData? to gain insights to strategic business needs that can be used across the enterprise.
On January 1st, we launched a new data asset, Carevive SMARTAlerts?. This dataset is a unique companion to our industry leading Carevive SMARTData?, providing additional information about the care team’s response to severe symptoms that are experienced by a patient over the course of their treatment. Carevive SMARTAlerts? complements Carevive SMARTData? by providing additional insight into topics such as how alerts are treated by the clinical team, the timing of alert responses, and what the patient experience looks like after an alert is resolved. We plan to present more publications this year that highlight this data.
Our real-world evidence (RWE) team and partners presented posters at ISPOR, ASCO, ASCO Quality, and ASH. In addition to collaborating with our academic partners on this research, we also published 3 posters with Takeda on the patient experience in several hematologic malignancies, representing our first publications in conjunction with industry.
Carevive is continuing to lead the field of patient experience data in oncology. We invite you to review the growing collection of our publications and posters.
Cheers,
