Reset Your Mind Today
According to Carol Dweck, a fixed mindset is when you believe that this is the way it is, the way it's always been, this is how you are, this is in your genes and there's nothing you can do to change it.?
This fixed mindset is what a lot of times holds people back from creating the life that they want.?
On the other side of that is a growth mindset, knowing that no matter what it is that you want to do, you can do it. It's just going to take making some changed. That's the type of mindset that you need to have in order to change your life.?
Your personality is not concrete. It's like a mask you decide to put on every single day. Alan Watts says that you're under no obligation to be who you were five minutes ago.??
So your personality can change at any time, you just have to make the conscious decision to change your personality because you want to change your results.?
So there are two options.
Make small changes?
If your life is generally good but deep down in your heart you feel like there is more for you and you know you're not living up to your potential, then this option is for you.
Buy a small pocket-sized notebook that can go into your back pocket and that you will take everywhere you go for the next 30 days.
Anytime that something happens to you or you do something that is not the highest version of yourself, write down what happened and what you want to do differently next time the situation arises. Writing it down brings awareness to the physical form versus just making a mental note.
You're training your brain to flag the things that you don't want and where you want to make adjustments. This is called a pattern interrupt. Instead of going on, as usual, you're going to interrupt that pattern.
Before you go to sleep each night, read through your notes. By doing this, you're programming your subconscious to actually start making changes while you're asleep.

A complete overhaul of your life.
If your life is in chaos this option is for you.
Do everything the opposite way that you normally would do it. I got this advice from my friend, Garren Jones. He had been in a French jail for smuggling heroin for a few years. He decided that he was just going to start doing everything differently because his actions over his entire life got him to where he was. Instead of continuing to do the same things over, he decided to do the opposite of everything that he normally did. If he would generally take an elevator or an escalator, he would now take the stairs. If he usually stayed up late, he started going to bed early. If he ate fast food, he would now make a healthy meal at home.?
What's the opposite of everything that you normally do? Take a pen and paper and write down everything you'd like to change.?
Then ask yourself what the opposite of that is and start doing it.?That's how you start to repattern yourself.?It worked for Garren. Eight years ago he was homeless, now he lives in a multi-million dollar house and he's married with a kid on the way.?
Your life is just the end result of all of your past actions. We want to be able to externalize the blame, but when you take responsibility for it, you get to make different choices.?
It’s a complete repatterning of who you are.?If you want to change, you have to do something different.?
