When we use SuperMap iServer, it is inevitable to encounter forgetting passwords. For different users, there are different ways to modify passwords. Let's take a look together!
1. Create an administrator account
When starting SuperMap iServer for the first time, enter the address: https://IP:8090/iserver/ in the browser to enter the initialization configuration wizard interface. To create an administrator account, enter the username and password, which is the super administrator account.
2. Create users
On the SuperMap iServer security page, there is a role management feature that allows you to add new accounts, and roles can be selected according to your needs.
3. Reset password of administrator account
There is a passwordreset.bat/passwordreset.sh file located in the bin directory of SuperMap iServer, specifically used to handle the issue of users forgetting the administrator account password. If you forget the administrator account password, you can recreate the administrator account by doing the following:

After the service is started, when accessing the iServer homepage, the system will automatically jump to the Create Administrator Account interface. At this time, simply recreate the administrator account at this page.
