Researcher to Reader wrap up, AI Tools, and more.

Welcome to our monthly newsletter from TBI Communications, Tiny Sparks to The Big Idea. We’ll be sharing updates in marketing and publishing, discussing everything from the latest insights and news to what we’re reading.

In case you’re new to TBI, we’ll also be showcasing our talented team and wide range of services to support the growth of publishers, societies, university presses, and beyond.???

Researcher to Reader – What Have We Learnt??

Last month, TBI’s Senior Consultant, Mithu Lucraft attended the Researcher to Reader conference in London. Taking place over two days, this conference combined thoughtful sessions, action-orientated workshops, and a chance to connect with our colleagues (over some excellent food)!

Continuing to focus on key disruptions to the industry, discussions explored changes in areas from artificial intelligence to Open Access. With truly engaging sessions, and a superb keynote from Antonia Seymour, we were left with a real sense of optimism for what our sector can achieve.

Don’t miss Mithu’s reflections on the event.

Our latest AI Tools blog posts have published!

As mentioned in previous newsletters, we’ve introduced a series of upcoming blog posts on how AI tools can support marketing activities.

This month, we’re pleased to have published 3 blog posts exploring various areas of marketing including content writing, video creation, and productivity.

"AI Tools for Content Writers" – Mithu Lucraft shares her insights on AI tools that can be used to support the content writing process, with the overarching aim to answer the question of: “when we write for communities for whom authority matters a great deal, how authoritative is the content generated from AI?”

AI Tools for Video– how can AI tools support you in creating videos? This blog post explores a selection of easy-to-use and affordable tools for text-to-video creation, video editing, audio enhancement, and more.

AI Tools for Productivity – as marketers, a large proportion of our time can be wasted having to undertake repetitive administrative tasks. Rowan Banham explores how AI Tools can help complete manual tasks to maximise productivity.

Google Ad Grants: Our experience supporting non-profits

A unique initiative offered by Google; non-profit organisations are granted $10,000 a month to spend on Google Search Ads. The in-house resource required to prepare, launch, monitor, optimise, and report on Google Ads campaigns is intensive, even without considering the additional restrictions of the Google Ad grant.

Our latest case study explores how TBI Communications have supported our non-profit clients with running successful Google Ad Grant campaigns.

Read the case study.

We’re pleased to introduce a new member of the TBI Team!
