A Research Discovery Worth Sharing As A Thought Experiment

Background

Recently, I returned working on a research project investigating the decline of the USD against foreign currencies and their supporting economic and financial markets, infrastructures, and underlying ideologies.

The central body of work encompassing this research program is associated with our continuing study pertaining to the debasement of the U.S. currency and its effects on western economics and supporting monetary policies. The effects of which have led the U.S. and international markets to what is now defined by many economists as approaching hyperinflation coupled with a deterioration of western authority in the global community.??

Today, our team's investigation of emerging data led to the discovery of the following factors, influencers, and drivers of economic, social, and governmental authority, power, and stability. We felt that what we discovered would be important to share with our cohorts and followers.

What We Discovered

We found a common thread in our data that links the present U.S. socio-economic performance of the U.S. to what some have defined as a failed state. Consider defining a failed state as a political body that has disintegrated to a point where a sovereign government's basic conditions and responsibilities no longer function properly (see also fragile state and state collapse). A state can also fail if the government loses its legitimacy even if it is performing its functions properly. For a stable state to exist, a government must enjoy both effectiveness and legitimacy. The Fund for Peace characterizes a failed state as having the following characteristics:

·????????Loss of control of its territory or the monopoly on the legitimate use of physical force

·????????Erosion of legitimate authority to make collective decisions

·????????Inability to provide public services

·????????Inability to interact with other states as a full member of the international community

The Thought Experiment

In the case of the U.S., one should closely examine the nation's history and continuing use of physical force to achieve its regional and global goals and objectives in light of rapidly changing international opinions and ideologies.

The ongoing division of opinion and cultural ideologies in the U.S. have risen to the point of eroding its legitimate authority and trust to govern the country and its people decisively.

Presently, one should consider the ability of the U.S. government and local municipal government authorities to provide public services such as police protection, water, and sanitary services, national resource conservation, human rights, and border controls. ?

Lastly, consider the impact on the ability of the U.S. to act as a broker for peace and the world leader with the authority, trust, and respect to negotiating peaceful ideological state and regional economic, resource, trade, and commerce disputes. ?

Why This Experiment Is Important

This information is offered for your consideration as a thought experiment. This message is for those with shared interests in such matters and the desire to see the U.S. increase its role in shifting world trends toward peaceful coexistence and prosperity.

Many international analysts argue it is in the common interest of all to reduce global conflict. This can be accomplished by not encouraging or supporting combative actions through the use of destructive means, disallowing access to needed resources, supplying opponents with the tools of war, or engaging in the destruction of materials and services required by societies to obtain and sustain fulfillment. These actions will likely result in the continuing devastation of our environment and climate. In short, these same analysts argue the U.S. should act as a trustworthy and mature leader in the elimination of continuing regional conflicts and wars so as to reduce and eliminate the likelihood of nuclear conflagration. ???

I would like to take issue with Dr. Huff's thoughts. However , I cannot. Our freedoms. our economic staability, and our image with the world has degraded. He is. " spot - on".
