Requirement For APP-V

 Role & Responsibilities:

Repackaging of complex corporate applications using Microsoft App-V v 5.1 packaging technique

• Readily available to work according to UK/US time zones.
• Windows 7, 8 to Windows 10 migration experience.
• Creation and configuration of vendor specific applications for packaging.
•  Ensuring quality of all packages produced by the team, by carrying out QA checks.
•  Performing component isolation and conflict management on packaged applications.
• Provide technical support to the Desktop Support on third level packaging issues.
• Providing regular updates and education to the users on packaging process and techniques.
• Assist in integrating, configuring, installing and testing infrastructure solutions/applications from multiple vendors.
• Perform comprehensive integration testing for all packaged applications.
• Testing the compatibility of application with target environment.

Key Skills:

• Installers App-V (mandatory), hands on must 3-5 years.
• Authoring and capturing Tools.
• Scripting – VB Scripting (WSh, WMI), PowerShell
• Deployment Tools – SCCM [added advantage if knows CM 2012]
• MSI technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, 3 to 5 yrs experience in MSI technology.
• Windows 10 knowledge and migration from Win 7 OS to Windows 10
