His dissertation, titled "Decisionmaking in the Conceptual Phase of Product Development," delves into a vital aspect of the manufacturing field. The esteemed scholars Junichi Tamaki and Sharif Ullah served as Dr. Rashid's Ph.D. supervisors during this program.

Additionally, Dr. Rashid obtained a Master's degree (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He successfully completed his Master's program on December 28, 1996, with a dissertation titled "Numerical Simulation of Non-Newtonian Fluid Flow Through Concentric Annuli with Center Body Rotation." The esteemed professors JA Naser and Showkat Jahan Chowdhury provided guidance and supervision during his Master's degree studies.

Furthermore, Dr. Rashid holds a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He concluded his undergraduate studies on November 27, 1993, with a dissertation titled "A Study on the Use of Rice Bran Oil and Vegetable Oils as Renewable Sources of Energy and Alternative Fuel for Lighting Purposes." His Bachelor's degree was overseen by the distinguished academic, Md Nurul Islam.

In addition to his engineering degrees, Dr. Md. Mamunur Rashid has pursued additional qualifications in diverse fields. These include:

Master of Social Science in Industrial Relations and Labour Studies from the Institute of Social Welfare and Research, University of Dhaka, Dhaka-1205, Bangladesh. His field study, titled "Health, Safety and Welfare: Practices and Realities in RMG of Bangladesh," was completed during the 2018-2019 session as part of the 5th batch. Dr. Rashid excelled in this program, achieving a CGPA of 3.64 and receiving a first-class first distinction.

Master of Laws (LLM) from Bangladesh University of Professionals, Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr. Rashid completed his LLM program during the 2017-2018C session as part of the 3rd batch. His research monograph, titled "World Trade Organization Rules on Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures: A Legal Analysis to the National Context of Bangladesh," was published on May 23, 2019.

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Dhanmondi Law College of National University, Gazipur, Bangladesh, in 2018. The results were published on May 22, 2019.

Furthermore, Dr. Md. Mamunur Rashid has actively pursued diploma and postgraduate level programs to enhance his knowledge and skills. These include:

Six months Diploma in Productivity and Quality from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM), Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh, attended as an Audit program.

Postgraduate level courses completed in the Advanced Engineering Management Program from the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh. Dr. Rashid completed courses such as Project Management, Management Accounting, Maintenance and Safety Management, Information Technology in Business, Technology Management, and Artificial Neural Systems for Business Decision Making between 2004-2009.

One-year postgraduate diploma in Marketing Management from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM), Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh. Dr. Rashid completed this program with a dissertation titled "A case study on Sales forecasting of Seven Ring Cement" on July 20, 2008.

One-year postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Personnel Management (IPM), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed this program on April 02, 2007.

One and a half years diploma in Computer Science and Application from Bangladesh Open University (BOU), Gazipur, Bangladesh. Dr. Rashid obtained this diploma on February 12, 2007.

Two and a half years Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Bangladesh Open University (BOU), Gazipur, Bangladesh, with a dissertation titled "Management Information System of Jamuna Fertilizer Company Limited." He graduated from this program on August 17, 2004.
