Have you been to my lectures? Would like your comments for my those who have not been to one. Together with Scott Mansell, I am planning a short online aerodynamics course with various aims. This includes providing some information to people working in industry who want some additional knowledge on aerodynamics, and basic information to pre-university students and undergraduates to help them determine if they wish to proceed further with studies into aerodynamics.

A short course like this cannot hope to give you the depth of knowledge you would gain from a university degree but it could be really useful to provide you with most of the important concepts and some applications of aerodynamics in industry. Together with Scott, I will list the main areas I would plan to teach in this course, so there is a reasonable chance of you influencing my focus for this course (if you are fast!).
Scott would like some references about my teaching he can add to the web page that will be created for this course. Personally I am interested to continue to improve as a sharer of knowledge, so I would welcome both positive and formative feedback. Perhaps the easiest is to leave your feedback as a comment. I can then use these for my own growth and also supply them to Scott for the web page.
This is specifically for those who have come to my in-person or online lectures. I don't normally like to ask, so apologies for asking.

3 个月Willem is an excellent presenter. He is passionate and patient. He will happily share his time passing on his endless knowledge to others. Even to the novice, Willem can communicate in an easy to understand manner. I am positive these potential courses will be appropriate to the audience Willem is suggesting. 4 个月Ok, so have I been to a Willem H Toet lecture? Yes, several. I ask myself would I go to another? Yes I would (In fact I have already been privileged enough to have been to a few). The depth of knowledge, the passion of delivering his message are so very good. You attend a Willem H Toet, and you come away enthused. All be it if you are a secondary school student, A member of a professional level motor sport team, A Formula Student team member, or a hobby racer doing your own thing in #motorsport or teaching #STEM subjects at a school.
