1 年So many problems with the idea of this. If it doesn’t include state returns how many preparers would be willing to only prep state returns? Will it run a filing status optimization to determine what is more beneficial? I can’t imagine the system will be sophisticated enough to handle returns that aren’t already available to be a free return on HR block, Turbo Tax, or other similar softwares. Seems to me to be a waste of a 15 million dollar study.

1 年This Republican does not but they should be upfront and warn this is only Federal they have to pay to do the State return.
