Republican National Convention Starting Now

B-1 B-2 B-3 R, Mc Gu. etc, who will you…but as for me and my house… will… vote Donald Trump Joshua 24:15 The Republican Convention which also has started with the various committees kicks off in full swing tomorrow Monday July 18, 2016 and some big shots in the party had said they will not attend. Well it is not too late to do what is right by abandoning a wrong step we have taken. People change their minds all the time, either from bad to good or even from good to evil. But only an option is okay and acceptable not both. When the 17 candidates for President started the Debates, ALL were made to swear or affirm that if they do not win the nomination, I mean if the people did not choose them and chose one of the other 16 candidates, they will abide by the will of the people. Who really engineered this Oath of Agreement to ABIDE by the people’s wish? Who? But now more than 1 former presidential Republican Aspirant has reneged on that promise and or oath. It is not too late to be a (wo)man and make good that promise. What is a party? Or why are we republicans? We are because we agree that it is the people that should choose the party’s flag bearer, and that is why we have Primaries and Caucuses. If we wanted the party hierarchy to choose our flag bearer, we could have agreed at an earlier period. But then that will be disaster because hierarchy and or establishment can never win General Election but only the People can and will win. Who can be a party member? Anybody. Even some that never joined any party, some that switch from another (major or minor) party to later become Republicans like Ronald Reagan–of blessed memory which most of us revere; and yet some like this writer that never changed party affiliation (even though voted Democrat in the last Primaries) which he never did because his candidate gave up midstream to join another candidate still very much in the race, and coincidentally the only one standing right now after the stronger of the last two standing surrendered after asking third contender Kasich to stay out of the Indiana Primaries and still lost! If anybody can be in a Party, it is also true therefore that anybody can run for any office in the party, though this may not be completely true BECAUSE THE AMERICAN CONSTITUTION FORBIDS SOME AMERICANS FROM RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT, which clause should be amended as it is discrimination. But that is not what we are talking about now. What we are saying is that if anybody should be prevented from being the party’s Presidential flag bearer, this should be done very early in the primaries and not after the majority of voters have chosen him or the will of the people will now be jeopardized. May be the establishment/party hierarchy should be choosing party’s candidate and not the grassroots so that we don’t have this sort of quandary. Actually I for long wanted to stop voting in the primaries because my choice is always loosing like that guy from NY that was active in 911 disaster that wanted to the president at a time and lost. Surprisingly he too wants to boycott this week’s convention. What of the person I told MD to vote for last 4 years but she refused and with the American spirit voted OBAMA for president for whatever reason. And when I chide she tells me: was it her one vote that made Romney lost? What about McCain on behalf of whom I made campaign made T-shirts, not because he was my original candidate (Giuliani was) but because he became the party’s flag bearer – he too does not to go to the Convention! These all and the Bushes should all go and some speak as Trump limits family speakers. If loose this election we know those that caused it. All hands must be on the deck with TRUMP + MD too.
