"The Subconscious Shift - Simple Techniques for a Better Life"

Hello Everyone...

Greetings of The Day

A warm welcome o One and All to the latest edition of your favorite weekly newsletter - The Journey from Human being to Being Human. In todays edition we would explore the importance of our Subconscious Mind and share probable ways to re-program it so that it can effectively used in our day to day life.

The subconscious mind refers to the part of our mind that operates below the level of conscious awareness. It stores memories, experiences, beliefs, and emotions that influence our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without us being fully aware of them. Unlike the conscious mind, which is involved in active thinking and decision-making, the subconscious mind processes information automatically and can significantly shape our perceptions and actions.

Role of the Subconscious Mind

  1. Memory Storage: The subconscious mind holds vast amounts of information, including memories and experiences from our past. This storage can influence our current behavior and reactions.
  2. Habits and Patterns: It governs habitual behaviors and automatic responses, allowing us to perform routine tasks without conscious effort. For example, driving a familiar route without actively thinking about it involves the subconscious.
  3. Beliefs and Conditioning: The subconscious is where our deep-seated beliefs and conditioning reside. These beliefs can shape our worldview, self-image, and attitudes, often based on early life experiences and societal influences.
  4. Emotional Responses: It plays a key role in our emotional responses and can trigger emotions based on past experiences or associations. For example, a smell or sound can evoke specific memories and feelings stored in the subconscious.
  5. Problem Solving and Creativity: The subconscious can process information and come up with solutions to problems, often while we are not actively thinking about them. Many creative ideas and insights arise from the subconscious.
  6. Automatic Bodily Functions: It regulates involuntary bodily functions, such as breathing, heartbeat, and digestion, ensuring that these processes continue without our conscious control.

Interaction with the Conscious Mind

While the subconscious mind operates below the surface, it can influence the conscious mind. For example, subconscious beliefs can shape our conscious thoughts and decisions. Conversely, conscious efforts, such as affirmations and visualization, can reprogram the subconscious mind over time, altering beliefs and behaviors.

Understanding and working with the subconscious mind can be a powerful tool for personal growth and transformation, helping individuals overcome limiting beliefs and develop new, positive habits.

Now as we have a good understanding on the role of our subconscious mind, let see at 06 probable ways, of re-programming it and using it to our advantage

1) Filter Your Thoughts

Your mind is a powerful thing, when you start to filter it with positive thoughts, your life begins to change - Gautam Buddha

Changing the contents of your mind is the first step towards a new life.

Keep an eye on you mind and let low vibrational thoughts (guilt, shame, fear, self doubt, self hate and judgement pollute it

2) Gain Clarity

Clarity is Power. The more clear you are about what you want, the more likely you are going to achieve it - Billy Cox

Life is meaningless without a sense of direction or purpose. Reconnecting with your inner guide will provide you with the clarity needed to make life changing decisions.

Try to follow these if you can

Less Screen Time Write to get clear, Doing one thing at a time, Write a Journal, Take long walks and most importantly Stop Overthinking

3) Visualize

Visualization is day dreaming with a purpose - Bo Bennett

The subconscious creative force is Imagination.

Spend about 10 - 15 minutes to stimulate your desired reality. Engage all your senses and live in the moment. Try doing this before and after going to bed

Surrender Your Worries and your subconscious mind will immediately begin working to make that reality a reality

4) Sound Healing

Do You know that our Soul is composed of Harmony - Leonardo Da Vinci

Every sound has an impact on both the body and mind. Try to remove music with low vibrational lyrics that promote a negative self image. Try listening to song with soulful lyrics that uplift your thoughts and self

5) Keep a High Vibe Company

When I stop eating certain things, I feel so much better. I feel the same when I stop dealing with certain people. - Ms Steve Maraboli

Every human interaction is an exchange of energy. Spend time with people who make you feel alive. Believe in the reaction of your body to the energy of other people. Keep distance if something does not feel right.

6) Spend Time in Silence

When we spend time in Silence, we can hear the voice of our Soul whispering its sacred message and encouraging us to make choices that bring us more happiness, health, love, meaning & peace. - David Simon

Silence forces you to confront your thoughts. Running away from your emotions only serves to bury them deep within. Feel your emotions instead, then remain detached and allow them to pass through you.

You will develop more emotional stability as a result your will power and discipline will become more consistent.

As we wrap up this edition of The Journey from Human Being to Being Human, we hope you've gained valuable insights into the power of the subconscious mind and practical ways to reprogram it for positive change.

Remember, the journey to becoming more human is a continuous process of growth and self-discovery. Let's take these steps together and embrace the power within us to transform our lives. Until next time, stay mindful and stay inspired!

Thanks & Regards Vishwanathan Ramchandran (V ! Ram)
