Reprint Update: A PRELIMINARY DRAFT BLUEPRINT FOR African Americans TO SURVIVE SEEFIRS
George "GC" Clarke
C.E.O. at Banneker Financial Services -- Founder of the Black & Brown Central Liquidity Facility Concept
Picking up where I believe Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X would have gone had they lived longer. I am summarizing my proposed solution to the Black/White wealth disparity and economic dilemma. Systemic, Endemic, Economic, Financial, and Institutional Racist Systems (SEEFIRS) is still the overarching problem for the African American culture. It underpins ALL of our economic, systemic and institutional bondage and continues to contribute to ALL of the current economic and social ills in our communities. I am sure that my almost 2,000 followers, which numbers are still growing, will agree SEEFIRS must stop. To monitor my progress toward developing and implementing a solution to this problem, please follow me and help however and whenever possible to present this first-of-its-kind history-making concept and effort. A Black Controlled Central Liquidity Facility/Secondary Market (BCCLF/SM) will help to address the astonishingly huge wealth gap, which shows the average white family has 10 times more wealth than the average Black family (Based on the Federal Reserve Board figures). However, the sad thing is that the gap is continuing to widen.
I am asking for all of you to help with spreading and developing my vision and proposal for a BCCLF that will act as an umbrella institution that will house the following:
·?????? A Foreign Service Desk for the purpose of allowing African Countries to participate and help support our efforts here and abroad (similar to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund). African countries are suffering from the same SEEFIRS issues as Black Americans here in the United States. European and Asian countries have dominated African countries' economies for hundreds of years. SEEFIRS is also controlling African economic systems, but that’s another problem that needs to be addressed.
·?????? Under the BCCLF/SM umbrella (Which will act as a central reserve bank or liquidity facility similar to the Federal Reserve) will provide badly needed liquidity to our severely undercapitalized Black Banks. It will increase their liquidity and ability to fund large projects and commercial residential mortgages in every state.
·?????? The Central Bank will also act as a secondary market, buying the debt from Black Banks and packaging it as securities that can be sold into a wider secondary market.
·?????? A full-service broker-dealer company will be established to handle that phase. A full range of consumer investment products services be made available to its customers. When just one White bank e.g. Chase N.A., is almost a thousand times larger than all the Black banks put together, and that is just one of the many mainstream money-center banks. This is why a BCCLF is critical for any Black bank to be competitive in the financial services industry and be a key element in recapturing and recycling Black Wealth.
·?????? A Full-Service All-Lines Insurance Company will be put in place to replace and expand on the void left by the North Carolina mutual insurance Company liquidation last year. North Carolina mutual insurance Company was the only 100-year-old major black-owned insurance company founded and owned by blacks. NC Mutual Insurance Company was liquidated by the North Carolina insurance Commissioner under somewhat questionable circumstances. Our financial institutions are always being held to the standard of larger, well-capitalized, white-controlled institutions. Black Americans pay Billions of dollars and fees to White controlled insurance companies. All of our Home and Auto Insurance is provided by these trillion dollars companies.
All of the subsidiary financial service companies will be eventually spun off and become autonomous but will maintain liquidity ties with the BCCLF/SM. This system will allow us to recapture and recycle our wealth thereby stopping the current situation in which every dollar we get must pass through the hands of a white institution at some point. Taking control of our economic destiny is imperative. This is a sample of my vision for Black economic culture going forward. Follow me on LinkedIn or Facebook and please pitch in and help as my quest continues to gain momentum. I am letting Black Americans know that civil rights without economic rights is like having a car without gas. This is where I believe Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were in agreement and headed before they were both tragically killed.
?I want all of you to share my vision of what is possible and within our power to make happen. Because many of us suffer from Stockholm Syndrome and cultural Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD) which has been developed over the hundreds of years of the effects from Systemic, Endemic, Economic, Financial and Institutional Racist Systems (SEEFIRS). Many of us during the 50s and 60s know that we got our heads beat in and, in many cases, died fighting in the struggle for Civil Rights. Now we need that same resolve to win our Civil Economic Rights Struggle. As long as our dollars are controlled by SEEFIRS we will never be in control of our financial and economic destiny or achieve any wealth parity with Whites. If we can pour billions of dollars into the symptoms and effects of SEEFIRS then we can redirect some of those dollars into developing a permanent solution to this overarching problem. I hope that you or someone reading this will see the necessity of helping to act on this critical problem. Our economic survival requires emancipating ourselves as African Americans from being second-class economic citizens.
So, again, I’m asking for your help, let’s redirect some of those billions of dollars we have invested in White controlled institutions to uplifting and freeing ourselves from the Systemic, Endemic, Economic, Financial and Institutional Racist Systems (SEEFIRS). If government wants to help it would be an excellent use of reparations dollars owed to Black Americans for the hundreds of years we had been enslaved and continue to be financially abused to this day. Government officials know about and have talked about the problem of SEEFIRS, but that’s all it has been just talk. The Congressional Black Caucus also needs to get involved in supporting my solution to the problem of SEEFIRS. I have been writing to our so-called Black leaders and Black government officials for years about this issue.
Your comments are welcome. Please share this mission with everyone you know who may help fund and/or support this critical march to economic freedom and financial equality.
