1. Check whether the specifications, roll diameter, and processing conditions of the spare roll ring meet the production requirements.
2. Check whether all installation equipment and tools on the assembly trolley are operating normally, and move the qualified roller rings to the assembly trolley.
3. After the rolling mill stops stably, you can take off the protective cover of the rolling mill shaft end; then loosen the roll ring with a hydraulic motor and take it off with a special lifting tool.
4. Clean the mill shaft head and roller ring gasket with acetone until they are clean and free of dirt (grid sandpaper can be used for descaling).
5. After setting the corresponding roll gap, put the cleaned roll ring slowly along the direction of the roll shaft and the flat head of the tapered sleeve until it touches the roll ring gasket.
6. Press the roll ring tightly with a special roll loading tool (it is strictly forbidden to hit with a hammer during the entire pressing process)
7. In the process of removing and installing the roll ring, the pressure indicator should roughly keep the same position. If not, it indicates that the taper sleeve and the shaft end of the rolling mill are not coordinated well, that is to say, there is rust or iron oxide scale on the contact surface that has not been cleaned.?
8. During production, the main console should reasonably adjust the stacking relationship, and it is strictly forbidden to over-draw the steel to cause slippage between the inner hole of the roller ring and the outer wall of the taper sleeve, which will damage the contact surface.
9. Check whether the flushing water of the rolling mill is aligned with the rolling groove or is blocked.
