Repeat After Me... I AM A Woman of Influence!

Ugly, Unloveable and a huge disappointment - This was my self perception way into my leadership journey.

Not in a conscious out loud kind of way - I didn't walk around saying this overtly to myself - didn't even know this was how I saw myself - And you certainly couldn't tell by looking that I felt this way - I chose not to think about me. I just kept going through the motions of life and leadership, busy, striving, avoiding chances to truly deeply look at myself, acting the way I thought I was supposed to

It didn't stop me from progressing up the ranks, (actually, in a lot of ways it helped me) but as I'm sure you can imagine, there was fallout - there always is when you think about yourself one way inside and portrait another way on the outside - living that mismatch is an energetically expensive way to BE

But in 2009 when life knocked me down I decided I was going to find a way to get back up and build my strength and show up for real - the process was/is incredible and that's how I discovered the way I'd been SEEING ME

I've learned we don't always actually understand how we see ourselves

We say one thing on our resumes we wax lyrical in interviews, we might even kind of believe it - but behind the mask... sometimes we struggle to SEE, know, like, LOVE ourselves

I help my clients SEE themselves

See their true power

See themselves as highly influential and the initiator of important meaningful change

See themselves as worthy to be seen, heard and taken seriously in their marketplace realm

not in a motivational pep talk kind of way but in a real, true, genuine often scary way

Because I've learned We MUST see ourselves FIRST, Woman of Influence - before "they" can see us, hear us, take us seriously. We've got wisdom, we've got so much more to be, do, say, contribute.

There's so much work to do in the shaping of a new marketplace normal - it would be a travesty to go back to the way things were - we need your voice, your insights and ideas we need YOU, the real you to show up, speak up and shake things the hell up Woman of Influence.

Grab a mirror - look into your own eyes

Pierce through to your own soul and listen... focus.... ask yourself what you see and then repeat after me... I AM A WOMAN OF INFLUENCE!
