CBO Says AHCA Cuts Deficit $119 Billion by Ending Insurance for 23 Million

?The Congressional Budget Office released the cost estimate for the House-passed American Health Care Act (AHCA) finding the bill would reduce federal spending by $119 billion over a decade. While CBO stressed that there is uncertainty in its estimate, given that it's hard to know which states would take up the chance to opt out of certain key parts of the ACA, it estimates that about 23 million people would become uninsured over a decade, and 14 million fewer people will be insured one year after passage. The AHCA would cut spending on Medicaid by $834 billion and premiums will go up in 2018 and 2019 - after that, there will be significant variation depending on whether someone lives in a state that opts out of key Obamacare insurance rules. I would say, instead of trying to rewrite the health care act, start regulating the insurance companies so health care premiums sent so expensive. Example COPD patients keep returning to the emergency rooms because they can't afford the medications after be discharged from the hospital.
