Summer time fun time! Now that summer is well underway and lots of folks will be taking vacations, we need to review a few concerns. This summer maybe different than any other summer we have ever experienced but bits of it will reflect our old normal.
We are still renting cars on vacation. If you rent a vehicle this summer be careful to remove the rental agreement from the glove box upon returning it to the car rental department.
When we are rushing back to the airport and trying to get through security and to our terminal on time, we sometimes rush.
It is very easy to leave behind the rental car agreement that was probably stashed in the glove box when you first picked up the rental.
This agreement has a lot of personal information on it. It contains name, address, drivers license number, insurance information, and possibly credit card numbers.
We don't want this falling into the wrong hands. Grab it before returning your rental and dispose of it properly. Shredding is the best way to ensure no one will be able to read the details on it.
