Ren's Pets Launches New Platform

We are excited to have launched our new web platform (Workarea Commerce Platform) and to have a wonderful partnership with Weblinc. A great deal of work has been done, and I owe an enormous amount of gratitude to our Agency partner Demac and to Weblinc for a successful launch. I also need to thank the whole Ren's team for the work that has been done to get this new site launched. When you take on one of these projects, you don't get a tone of new resources you typically have to leverage the associates that are already swamped running the day to day business and then to take on a project like this you end up pulling people in multiple directions. There are two people at Ren's that have gone above and beyond that I have to mention as their hard work and commitment to Ren's is what every company is looking for. Sara Fenwick and Francielle Belotto. Sara should be very proud of the work she has accomplished as she took this project on just over a year ago and has really over-delivered. She is such a great communicator, smart and just a pro! Francielle has been in charge of content and working with the vendors so we can continue to improve on the content we provide to our customers. Francielle is new to the Ren's team; however, her knowledge in digital is some of the best in the industry. I am fortunate to have these two on this project with me.
Now on to the fun stuff and continues improvement. We are testing and rolling out a number of new omnichannel tactics such as AutoShip, and Click & Collect strategies that will allow an excellent shopping experience for our current customers as well as allow us to introduce our brand to pet customers all across Canada. Our customers will be able to get both product recommendations and relevant information for the search results. From a Ren's perspective, it is going to allow us great control of our customers online shopping experience.
I am so proud of this launch as we not only launched a new responsive website with many omnichannel features we also launched our new Ren's Rewards loyalty program that will allow us to focus on Customer Loyalty, Referral Marketing and give the opportunity for our customer to engage with us more, leveraging User Generated Content (Annex Cloud.)
Over the next several weeks I will go into detail on what we launched and how things are going. Lot's has been done on the shipping and logistics side as well as our SEM and PPC side that is exciting to share. Right now we have to focus on our first event that will be live this weekend on the new platform, Catober, a retail sale designed for all the cat lovers across Canada, then maybe get some sleep.
