Renewal – The Spirit of Fire and Water

Renewal – The Spirit of Fire and Water

What do you do on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to revitalize and rejuvenate yourself? It’s one thing to know how to relax and escape the stress pit of life but, it’s quite another thing to know how to get revved up and get those old juices flowing again. You need to be able to wake up your mojo and drop back into flow consistently and regularly. Your ability to do this not only helps you to move forward on your objectives but it helps you to become and remain relevant to those around you. You will never become useless or boring. Instead, your actions will always have merit and create more and more opportunities for your growth. Get this right and never be concerned about becoming stale or irrelevant again!

As wave is driven by wave And each, pursued, pursues the wave ahead, So time flies on and follows, flies, and follows, Always, forever and new. What was before is left behind; what never was is now; And every passing moment is renewed. ― Ovid, Metamorphoses

The more you can keep your eyes open to what’s happening right now and the effect it could have on your inevitable future the less you’ll be surprised and stressed. But, you have to be open to all of it. You can’t have partial experiences or halfway realities. You must be bold enough to commit. Stand in your truth and be strong enough to step up to the challenge that it offers. Sometimes that means changing your perspective and it always means being open to new ideas.

Renewal requires opening yourself up to new ways of thinking and feeling ― Deborah Day, BE HAPPY NOW!

When you renew with a new strategy or technique in mind you come back with a little more excitement and anticipation, doesn't it? You should always be determined to press for more. I mean, try to work just a little harder and a little smarter each day. If you’re determined to grow just a little each day, the law of diminishing returns will quickly turn in your favor and you’ll experience ever increasing positive opportunities. You’ll have tremendous amounts of energy right when you need it most. You’ll be able to focus and perform to the best of your capacity.

For within your flesh, deep within the center of your being, is the undaunted, waiting, longing, all-knowing. Is the ready, able, and perfect within you, waiting its turn to emerge, piece by piece, with the dawn of every former test of trial and blackness, is the next unfolding, the great unfurling of wings, and the re-forged backbone of a true Child of Light. ― Jennifer DeLucy

I believe that we are all hard-wired for greatness. Every day gives me an opportunity to affirm that belief in my own personal growth and my dedication to that of others. Our world tends to kick us in the teeth quite a bit and force us to give up or quit on ourselves but adversity doesn’t change our possibility or promise. It just is what it is. There are greater things to come for all of us when we can just learn to pay attention, be mindful and keep moving forward carefully toward ever-increasing challenge. You’ll get better, faster, and stronger along the way, I promise.

Whenever I feel myself start to falter or waiver in my commitments I review my goals and objectives.  I check to make sure that I’m following through on my values and honoring the required principles of my craft. It’s a great healthy way to rekindle my passion and to replenish my resolve to bring my “A game.”

If there is nothing new under the sun, at least the sun itself is always new, always re-creating itself out of its own inexhaustible fire. ― Michael Sims, Apollo's Fire: A Day on Earth in Nature and Imagination

Here are some wonderful renewal strategies that I've found quite helpful:

o  The path of good health

o  The spiritual path

o  Keep it holistic

No matter how, you've got to perfect the skill of rejuvenation. You must quickly get back into the right mode and motivation to take action in an authentic way that calls upon your personal resolve and connection to your highest values. Try to give a little more effort each and every day because this is how you to become a model of strength and growth for others. Always seek to bring friends and associates with you so that there will be others to share in every bit of fun and challenge that the journey can bring. And, completely submerge yourself into the best processes and procedures that you and your team can create or find. In this way you will insure relevance!
