According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the output of renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, has increased by 18% compared to last year. The US renewable energy market is expected to register a CAGR of more than 6% from 2023 to 2027. This indicates a gradual upward trend in renewable energy production in the United States. Furthermore, the government energy tracker predicts that wind,?solar , and hydro energy will account for 22% of U.S. electricity generation by the end of the year. That is more than coal at 20% and nuclear at 19%.?
As renewable energy develops, electric vehicle adoption is forecasted to have a 60% share of all global new car sales by 2030. A recent forecast projected that number will reach 26.4 million in 2030. Another major transition is noticed in the gas industry, as there is a decrease in demand for oil-fired furnaces, boilers, cooking stoves, and water heaters. High-efficiency electric heat pumps and induction cookers replace these. This could result in a cut of up to 3 gigatons of carbon dioxide emission, a crucial development considering the USA’s 2035 carbon emission goals.
