Removing protesters who use Superglue.
Illegal protesting such as Just Stop Oil, & many other who commit crime to attempt to further their aims is on the increase. For centuries, legal protesters (which we support)?have used their voices to demonstrate against injustices and bring attention to important issues. However, over the last decade, a new trend has emerged within the world of protests - the use of superglue to bond protesters together or to objects.
Dubbed as “super gluing,†this protest technique involves activists supergluing their hands or other body parts together, or to objects such as the road or vehicles, in order to physically prevent themselves from being moved by authorities. The idea is that it creates a stronger, more impactful demonstration since it is difficult to separate bonded protesters without the risk of injuring them. The trend has gained popularity in recent years, with protesters in Germany, the UK, Australia, and the US all using superglue as part of their demonstrations.
When bonded together, protesters are harder to remove, which means they can continue their demonstration for longer periods of time. It also creates a stronger sense of unity and solidarity within the group, which can make the protest more effective and impactful. The use of superglue when protesting, however, has also raised several concerns. One of the main concerns is the risk of injury to the protester, either from their action or members of the public who have had enough pf their actions.
When protesters superglue themselves to objects, authorities may be forced to use more force than they normally would to remove them, creating the potential for injuries. Similarly, there is also the potential for protesters to be seriously hurt if the superglue is not used correctly.
Another concern is that this type of demonstration can be viewed as confrontational and disruptive, which may make it harder to get the support of the wider public. While super gluing can certainly be an attention-grabbing tactic, some may feel that it is not an effective way of communicating the aims of a protest. It could also create sympathy for the authorities, who may be seen as having to deal with unnecessarily difficult and dangerous situations.

Despite these concerns, the use of superglue protests is likely to persist. As long as there are people who will act illegally rather than protesting legally along with which there will always be new and creative ways of protesting. While not all methods will be successful, some will have a lasting impact. On the society around these illegal evictions, and the potential damage to the protesters.
So, what if a protester superglues themselves to a vehicle or path or part of a building. In the main, the police have special units to deal with these illegal activities. There are however, times when the police will politely point out that it is a civil matter, if it is on private land, or within a building. Or there is a further serious incident going on elsewhere.
