What makes a cold call so scary? ??

  • Is it that they might be rude to you? That they might shout at you?
  • Is it that they might even hang up on you?
  • Maybe you’ll get your pitch wrong?
  • Maybe you’ll ask a stupid question?
  • And then what if they remember you… and tell all their friends ???

You’ll never work in Sales again!


Most people get that feeling of anxiety build up before they make a sales call. It’s natural!

???Cold Call Newbies

?????Sales Call Veterans

???? ♀??And everyone in between…

I sure know I’ve had my fair share of anxious feelings before calling a total stranger! ??


But how can we get past this fear?

???Should we shout at ourselves in the mirror?

???Should we imagine the prospect in their underwear?

?Or, should we just get over it?

You can give any of the above a go… but the?best?thing is to make a plan. ??


Yes - that’s?it!

The big secret to getting over the fear of cold calling is to ??MAKE A PLAN ?


With a plan, everything becomes far less scary!

???You know what to say at the start

???You know how to introduce yourself well

???You know what questions to ask

???You know where you were if you get lost

?? ♀??You know how to overcome objections

???You know what your end goal is

???You know how to end the call perfectly

This doesn’t need to be an exact “I say this” / “they say that” step-by-step plan… just a vague outline of where you’re going and the landmarks along the way.

So - what should be your cold calling plan?

Well... here it is:

1???The introduction - how will you start the call?

2???The hook - how will you grab their attention?

3???The bridge - how will you get?them?talking?

4???The body - what questions do you want to ask?

5???The close - what is the ideal next action?

Stick to that ?? and you’re already a mile ahead of your previous anxious self.
